Just a little update from us… The HALT shop is now open again, and it’s been so lovely welcoming familiar faces back through the door. 📍 Where to find us Dovecote Farm Orston Nottingham NG13 9NE 🕰 Opening hours Friday: 9am – 1pm Saturday: 10am – 4pm Sunday: 10am – 2pm A little note — as the shop doesn’t have heating or air conditioning, if the weather is extremely cold or very hot we may close a little earlier than planned so our team can stay comfortable. We always try to update where we can, but if you’re travelling, it’s best to check. We also love taking the shop on the road, so there may be weekends where we’re closed due to shows such as Badminton, Burghley, the Nottinghamshire County Show, Equifest or HOYS. If you’re ever unsure, please don’t hesitate to call ahead on 07792 191433.Whether you’re popping in for a browse, trying something on, or just stopping to say hello, we genuinely want you to have the best possible shopping experience — relaxed, friendly and unrushed. Product Care
Caring for Your HALT Pieces
Every HALT piece is designed for the everyday rider, built to move with you through the yard, the arena, and everywhere in between. A little care goes a long way in keeping technical fabrics performing and timeless silhouettes looking sharp, season after season.
Washing
- Machine wash cold (30°C) on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
- Use a mild, non-biological detergent and avoid fabric softener, which can affect technical and moisture-wicking fabrics.
- Turn garments inside out before washing to protect prints, zips, and finishes.
Drying
- Air dry where possible. Line drying keeps technical fabrics performing at their best.
- If tumble drying, use a low heat setting only.
- Avoid direct heat sources such as radiators, as these can damage elastane and technical fibres.
Ironing & Storage
- Iron on a low setting if needed, avoiding any printed or embellished areas.
- Store folded or hung in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Stain Care
- Treat stains as soon as possible, blotting rather than rubbing.
- Avoid bleach or harsh stain removers on technical fabrics.
